Social Research Centre honored with health promotion award
Tuesday 8 December 2015
The ANU Centre for Social Research and Methods proudly congratulates our partner, the Social Research Centre (SRC), on receiving a 2015 VicHealth Health Promotion Award.
The SRC, led by Darren Pennay, was awarded in the 'Research into Action' category for their National Community Attitudes Towards Violence Against Women Survey. The survey conducted by SRC studied community attitudes towards and knowledge of violence against women, with a view to future action in areas identified by the data as in need of attention. The SRC worked with Social Sense Marketing, The University of Melbourne and VicHealth on the study.
This award affirms the SRC's commitment to rigorous social research benefitting Australian communities.
